Fri. May 18

- Pizza grilled cheese
- Low carb banana "muffin" w/peanut butter
- Small piece of pork tenderloin
- Brown rice w/broccoli, peas and a touch of soya sauce (something I never thought I'd eat, lol)
- Crystal Light in water
- A few cups of chicken fried rice
- Several pieces of General Tso Chicken
- Chocolate milk (500mL)
- 2 small cherry cheese strussels(sp?) (Tim Horton's)
- Lots of water

Thu. May 17

- Bowl of cinnabon cereal, in milk
- Strawberry pie (McD's) (leftovers)
- A couple dozen cucumber slices
- McDouble, only ketchup, crispy onions, lettuce and cheese
- 2 low carb banana "muffins"
- Dieter's (cleansing) tea
- Orange
- Tin of tuna, w/a little mayo and lots of peas (I was craving this and not expecting great things, but it really hit the spot :] )
- 3 servings of Crystal Light (total, throughout the day)
- Lots of water

I feel like today was pretty decent. I was able to get to the gym after work, but even better than that, when I got home, I was able to not dig into my chocolate supply. Not that the thought didn't cross my mind... a lot. I just had my tuna dish, a couple Crystal Lights and just kinda waited it out. I think I'm going through one of my periods of just trying to be good; like eating decently and working out consistently. Also, I'm just sick of plateauing and losing and gaining the same 3 or 4 lbs every week. I just need to be good, get over my hump and hopefully that'll be the little extra motivation I've been needing.

Wed. May 16

- Bowl of Corn Flakes,in milk w/3 Equal packets
- Banana, wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla w/peanut butter spread inside
- Several spoonfuls of strawberry yogurt
- Quarter Pounder, only ketchup, crispy onions, lettuce and cheese (McD's)
- About a dozen sliced strawberries
- McDouble, only ketchup, crispy onions, lettuce and cheese and a 3rd beef patty (McD's)
- Strawberry pie (McD's)

So, we have crispy onions at work for a limited time. I F-ing love those things. They'll probably be appearing a decent amount in my blogs for the next little bit. Fair warning. haha

Tue. May 15

- 2 bowls of Special K, in milk w/6 Equal packets total
- Red delicious apple
- 3 breakfast sausages
- Slice of banana bread
- A dozen or so strawberries, sliced
- Grilled pizza sandwich (basically a grilled cheese w/mozzarella cheese, 7 small pepperoni slices and pasta sauce)
- 3 very small pork tenderloins, seasoned w/all spice
- A couple cups of mainly peas and broccoli w/white rice and a little soya sauce
- Dieter's (cleansing) tea
- Crystal Light in water
- 3 small chocolate eggs
- 90g of Reese's pieces
- Low carb banana "muffin"

So, this was quite a day. I realize I ate a lot today and part of me feels bad about that, but I also think a decent portion of what I ate was fairly healthy. I was able to make it to the gym in the early afternoon and then I walked to the dollar and grocery store (60 mins, round trip) in the evening. I also picked up a bunch of healthy-ish food stuffs, so I'm hoping I can continue eating well (but in less volume) this week.

Made me laugh. Also, very true.

Mon. May 14

- 1 vanilla cupcake
- Egg, sunny side up w/extra whites
- 3 breakfast sausages
- Original Twister alcoholic drink (Jack Astor's)
- Half a nacho app (Jack Astor's)
- Caesar salad w/chicken (Jack Astor's)
- 4 Jello strawberry cheesecake cups (not something I'm proud of -.-)

So, I had the day off and was able to get to the gym today. And it was a nice, sunny day so I wore a new sun dress out for dinner and it was a Medium. Good times.

I figured I wouldn't get many opportunities to be bad cuz I had 8 hours of work today, but clearly, that was not the case. See, this is why it's good to keep track of what you eat; you can underestimate how much you eat and the amount of calories you can potentially consume in a day. That's not an excuse for my bad choices, but this does help me see how every little bit adds up and how I should try to do better.

I reeeally slept in today. I thought I wasn't gonna have as much time at the gym as I'd like, but things seemed to work out well; I just did 10 mins less on the elliptical than usual. No biggie. Also, I know my food choices today were pretty bad, but the portion sizes weren't terrible and they were spaced out enough that I'm sure my metabolism didn't have to deal with too much or too little at a time. I guess the scale will tell tomorrow though. lol

- 7 Bacon, onion and cheese perogies
- 2 small-ish homemade whole wheat pancakes
- Quarter pounder, only ketchup, lettuce and cheese
- Crystal Light in water
- Dieter's (cleaning) tea
- 1 Chicken nugget (McD's)
- Grilled chicken snack wrap, w/southwest sauce, lettuce and cheese

Ran 38/40 mins at 5mph before work and then went to the gym for some bench pressing and weight machines and even some rope jumping. :)

Wed. May 9

I ran before work again; 55 mins, and at 5mph for about 85% of the time. I was gonna go to the gym after work, but I got out later than expected and my feet  were hurting pretty bad, so I just went home. I'll go tomorrow.

Saved this pic a few days ago and I decided to try that. I did it, but I had to have my back to the wall though. lol

So, I didn't run before work today cuz I slept in pretty late (and was still kinda sleepy), but mainly I was just being a lazy piece of shit. But I did pack my workout gear and went to the gym after work. I only used some weight machines, but I decided to run some of the way home to get some extra cardio and to sorta make up for this morning. My lungs seemed to hurt a bit more than usual though, probably cuz the air is cooler outside than in my basement. Anywho, I'll really try to be more active tomorrow. Dunno if I'll go to the gym tomorrow, but we'll see.

There was a minute while I was at dinner that I thought I actually might have to run to the bathroom and be sick. It passed and I stopped eating at that point, but I dunno if it had to do with how much I ate or maybe the alcoholic beverage hit me more than I thought. Anyway, scary. :/

So, I got to make the spinach cheese dip and it turned out really well. The tortillas turned out good, too. :)

Fri. May 4

- Chocolate banana low carb "muffin" (the exact same recipe as before, but with chcocolate powder instead of vanilla)

- Caesar salad w/half fat dressing, bacon and cheddar cheese

- 2 chocolate chip cookies
- Piece of lemon meringue pie
- 4 small gummy candies
- 3 breakfast sausages
- A bunch of water

I ran before work today again. 43/45 mins starting at 4.7 and ending at 5mph. I still had some moments when I wanted to stop, but I pushed through and wasn't too uncomfortable. I could even feel my leg muscles being sore again (in a good way). :)

So, work was craptacular, like I figured it would be, but I went get into that. I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I have another 3 day weekend and I looking forward to it; partly for the R&R and partly for the food potential.  My friend and I decided to use my tortilla recipe as an excuse to attempt to make spinach cheese dip and he suggested adding caesar salad and steaks to the menu. I did not object. lol. I'm also hoping we'll make it to Lone Star for the all you can eat fajitas on Monday. Sooooo good. *drools*

Thu. May 3

Went to the gym today and then went out for dinner with a friend. I would have probably gone for a dessert at Jack Astor's, but there were a couple things that went wrong with the service we got and I didn't want to give them the opportunity to fuck up again. However, about an hour or so later, I was really jonesing from something sweet. I was at my friend's house and suggested ice cream, but he shot that idea down. I wonder if me mentioning I would pay for it would've changed his mind though. lol. Anyway, over the next few hours, I was really not in a good mood, getting annoyed by the tiniest thing and was constantly wanting to go home and dig into my chocolate stash some more. Eventually, I just decided to stay and deal with it. I ended up falling asleep soon after, so I dunno if the workout tired me out or my shitty mood. lol

I need to remember this sometimes.

Tue. May 1

- About half a cup of blueberry yogurt
- Medium caesar salad, w/cheddar cheese, bacon and half fat dressing
- Small cup of strawberry yogurt (100 calories)
- Several handfuls of sour cream and onion chips
- Handful of M&Ms

I did another run before work today. 47/50 mins at 4.7mph. I got a blister on my foot, but it was worth it. I was nice and sweaty afterward; I kinda like how I look when I'm sweaty after a workout. It means I made the most of my time. :)

So, I have to work early tomorrow, which means I'll be able to walk to the gym after work. I just hope my feet will be alright. They've been kinda hurting by the end of the day for the last couple days. Probably from the running, but we shall see.

Mon. April 30

- Orange
- Medium piece of cheddar cheese

A pretty decent day. I hit snooze more times than I would have liked, but I apparently just really needed the sleep. However, when I did finally get up, I had breakfast and then got on the treadmill and did about 42.5/45 mins at 4.7 mph. I wanted to stop a bunch of times, but I just kept "evaluating" myself (no broken bones, no major pain while breathing, no muscles too tight or sore) so I just pushed through. It felt good. :)

I was also able to get to the gym after work. I only used weight machines and then walked home afterward. And I kinda felt like the 70lbs I was benching was a touch too easy, so I think I'll have to up it to 75 next time. Woo! lol

Here's hoping for another good day tomorrow.
