Fri. March 30

(Got back down to the 2nd lowest weight I've been since the start and that was by eating something for every meal and working out; not by eating next to nothing and being inactive.)

- Egg, sunny side up w/extra whites
- 4 breakfast sausages
- Banana milkshake (1 banana, 1 cup of milk, pinch of cinnamon)
- Small sized pork chop
- 2 handfuls of green grapes
- Black plum
- Crystal Light in water
- Medium caesar salad
- 3 pieces of sliced ham
- A bunch of water

So, I decided to wear an under bust corset to bed last night; partly for waist training and partly to see if I could, and I did. lol

Also, I've been thinking that after my BDay and summer, I dunno what major thing I'll have to motivate me to keep eating well and working out and stuff; apart from the wanting to not look like a fat piece of shit. So, I decided to see how long it takes me to run a mile. I've heard people talking about doing 12 or 10 minute miles, so I set up my treadmill for it and I think I run it in like 11:54, which seems a little quick, unless I'm not more fit than I think. I might have to try this on a more advanced gym treadmill, but I think a goal of doing a 10 minute mile is pretty good. Maybe I could run a 5 or 10k one day too. But let's just take things one step at a time.

- 2 pieces of whole wheat toast; one w/peanut butter, one w/grape jam
- Snack size strawberry banana smoothie (McDonald's)

- Crystal Light in water
- Several green grapes
- Small bowl of strawberry frozen yogurt
- A bunch of water
- 3 gummy worms

I walked from work to the gym and then back home. I'm pretty wiped out, so I'm just gonna get to bed.

Wed. March 28

- Medium sized steak
- Egg, sunny side up w/extra yolks
- A couple pieces of sliced roast beef
- Several spoonfuls of apple sauce, unsweetened
- Caesar salad
- Peach
- 3 breakfast sausages
- Banana milkshake (1 cup milk, 1 banana, pinch of cinnamon)

I have some gummy bears in my room, calling my name. I won't give in, but they're there. I have been thinking about having a nice, big cheat day though. Just to eat a bunch of stuff I haven't let myself have in a while or that I've been craving. Some of these foods include a grilled cheese sandwich, beef Mr.Noodle, chocolate, etc. Maybe I'll see how the next couple days go and if I lose enough weight to be able to afford a cheat day. Or I'll just eat all my healthy food and once it's all gone, I'll eat some bad stuff and then go out and buy more fruits and veggies. We'll see.

Tue. March 27

- A couple dozen cucumber slices
- A couple handful of baby carrots
- Medium sized piece of schnitzel w/ketchup
- Small glass of chocolate milk
- Orange
- A bunch of water

So, my food choices last night, plus weighing myself after only having one tiny meal much earlier in the day, did end up catching up with me. I weighed myself a few hours after the cucumber and carrots and had put a few pounds back on. I tried not too freak out too much since I knew today was gonna be a lower calorie day. I also went to the gym and had a very good work out, on top of walking to and from the gym (about 25 mins each way).

I'm just gonna try to get back on track tomorrow; protein for breakfast, salad for lunch, etc. Also, my work schedule leaves some pretty decent room for gym-ing at night. I still just have a handful of pounds to lose til my BDay either way. As a matter of fact, I tried on what I was thinking of wearing for my party and it was actually a touch looser than I'd like. I may have to wear something different, but as long as it looks good, it's fine by me. :)

Mon. March 26

- Couple handfuls of green grapes
- 3 mozzarella sticks
- Irish stew w/ 2 pieces of garlic bread
- Spring roll
- 2 small pieces of fried dough ("Chinese donut")
- Various portions of Chinese food (3 pieces of general tao chicken, 6 pieces of beef in black bean sauce, 2 pieces of fried pork, a couple helpings of chicken fried rice)
- 2 fortune cookies
- Lots of water

So, I'm pretty tired, so I'll try to keep this short. I slept late again today and had some grapes for breakfast and had a few reasons to put off having lunch. I didn't eat for several hours til my friend and I decided to go out tonight to one of our DJ friends' karaoke show. I popped home quickly to clean up a bit decided to weigh myself to see the damage the previous day's meals had done. Well, I was completely shocked to find that I was 3 lbs lighter than the last time I weighed myself. It was awesome, but I knew that was probably mainly cuz I hadn't had much to eat today and we were about to head out to a pub for food. We did eat there and then went for Chinese food a few hours later. I have no way of weighing myself right now, but it wouldn't matter anyway since fat isn't stored that quick. So, I'm just gonna have lots of veggies tomorrow and have a good, long work out at the gym in the evening. That oughta help me break even.

At least I know I'm capable of getting as low as I did. I also fit a lot better into the skinny jeans I wore and was even able to comfortably wear a hoody I purchased months ago for after I lost some weight. Anyway, if by some miracle, the weight loss sticks, I'll only be 4lbs away from my goal weight for my BDay in less than a couple weeks. I think it's do-able. Here's hoping...

Sun. March 25

I think that joy of seeing the number on the scale is coming back. When I saw that I was down by another 2 lbs, I was super shocked, especially considering the lasanga and banana and garlic breads I had. I was pretty good about not eating too close to bed time too, so I'm sure that helped.

I'm going into another couple days where I won't be able to weigh myself. I'm hanging out with a friend til Tuesday night, but I've been able to be good so far (see breakfast? lol). And I've brought a bunch of fruit and stuff to snack on. Maybe if I'm good I'll get a nice low surprise in a couple days. I also plan on gym-ing on Tuesday night, so maybe if I kill it there, that'll definitely help. We'll see.

Sat. March 24

(Down by 41lbs as of this morning. :D )

- Brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal w/extra raisins
- Red delicious apple
- Small piece of banana bread
- 5 pieces of sliced ham
- Mozzarella cheese string
- A few handfuls of green grapes
- Medium-sized piece of lasanga
- 1 piece of garlic bread (made with multi grain bread) 

So, ya, the lasanga is really not something I should have eaten. But it was what my parents decided to have for dinner and, since I happened to be home for dinner today, I decided one piece won't be too bad. Part of the special diet I'm on claims it works cuz it "calorie shifts". Basically, it means you need to eat more calories on some days and less on others so that your body doesn't get used to the same amount of calories and adjusts it's requirements, meaning that you stop losing even though your not getting the full 1800-2400 needed daily. So, I figure today will just be a higher calorie day. lol. I'm gonna do some working out on my treadmill and then I still need to have a snack later, so I'll just have a piece of fruit or something.

So, I weighed myself after the treadmill and before I took a shower. I dunno why I do this sometimes. I know that people tend to put on a couple pounds as the day goes on, but sometimes I get curious and wanna see where I'm at. Normally, this action leaves me a little depressed, but not today. I hadn't put on a pound since the morning. This leaves me hopeful for the morning. I better get to bed and see what happens. This feels a little like Christmas. lol

Fri. March 23

- Breakfast burrito w/eggs, cheese and beef (I shouldn't have had this, but those are the pit falls of going out for food)
- Small strawberry yogurt
- 4 pieces of bacon
- 6 slices of cooked ham
- A few handfuls of green grapes
- Crystal Light in water
- Several handfuls of peanuts

I don't really have much to say tonight. My feet and back hurt from work and I'm pretty worn out. So, I'm just gonna get to bed and hope that I sleep off another pound. lol

I laughed sooooooo hard the first time I saw this. lol

Thu. March 22

(I am officially down 40lbs today. :D )

- Chicken w/BBQ sauce
- 2 mozzarella cheese strings
- 4 breakfast sausages

- Crystal Light in water
- Several handfuls of peanuts
- A bunch of water

So, like I said above, I'm down a full 40lbs from when I started trying to lose weight. I feel really good about this, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to have registered in my brain. Up until I lost the last few pounds, every other pound lost was a big accomplishment and I felt so great. But recently, I don't seem to be as excited as before and I dunno why. I still get just as annoyed if I put a pound on though. So, I dunno. Hopefully this is something that'll fix itself in time.

Anyway, work was suckier tonight than usual, but I won't get into that too much. It's over and I'm all showered and in bed and looking forward to watching The Hunger Games in the morning. Good times.

This is like the only reason I'd get implants.

I walked to work (25 mins), then work to the gym (40 mins) and then home from there (30 mins). So, I definitely got my cardio, on top of the work I did at the gym.

I don't really have much else to say, so I'll just leave it at that.

Tue. March 20

- 5 chicken fingers with plum sauce
- Side order of onion rings
- Vanilla milkshake
- 6 slices of roast beef with BBQ sauce
- Chocolate milk with Benefiber
- Several green grapes
- 1 chicken nugget
- Lots of water

Here's another perfect example of how going out for food with friends can really mess with dieting. I was ready to start my 11 day diet; I had bought a few things over the weekend and had some other stuff that I'd need at home already. So, it was shaping up to be a good start but then the friend, whom I had hung out with all weekend, suggested we go to a local "greasy spoon" near our houses for breakfast. The only thing that really struck my fancy and that sorta went along with the diet was the chicken fingers. And I wasn't in the mood for fries, so I got onion rings instead and then added a milkshake cuz if I was gonna be bad, it had better have been delicious. Oh well, can't take it back now.

Anyway, there's nothing foreseeable that'll get in the way of doing well tomorrow. I'm actually probably gonna be getting a good amount of walking done, including a trip to the gym after work (like I did tonight).

On a side note, I maaaaaaay be a little sick. I woke up with a really dry throat a couple days ago and thought I had just slept with my mouth too far open. It's stuck around and I had the sniffles today. That may be due to allergies though, from all the nice weather we've had recently. I just have to keep an eye on it and maybe get a touch more sleep and fluids.

I know this girl's name, but it escapes me at the moment. Anyway, I love her hair and nails and body type and tattoos. And that cake looks friggen good. lol. I would love to be able to be a model like her.

So, today started with promise, but I was hanging out with a couple friends and we're all pretty indecisive, so it was quite a while between meals. And, I guess you could also say that we only had like 2 meals today, not including the "dessert" from Tim's.

So, it'll be back to eating much better tomorrow. I'm actually kinda scared to weigh myself too, but I know it must be done. Wish me luck. lol

- Seven cheese ravioli (Boston Pizza)
- Several sweet potato fries

So, ya, not a good day at all. This is what can happen when you let other people influence you into making bad food choices. And also what boredom eating can look like. But, have no fear, I will be getting back on track on Tuesday.

I have access to this website called fatloss4idiots. It's basically a weight loss regime with specific rules and certain foods you should be eating on certain days and they claim you can lose up to 9lbs in 11 days. I've done it in the past and it's worked out pretty well, assuming I don't cheat. lol. So, since I have work Tue-Sat this week, I see that as a good opportunity to get into a decent routine. I'm also gonna try to get between 30-60 mins of cardio before work (not including the actual walk to work) and then hitting the gym a couple times too.

So, that's my plan. Considering the last couple days, I can't make any promises about my food choices tomorrow, but we'll see.

That's pretty much how I feel about my job. lol

The good time I while eating the chicken wings and cheesecake makes me feel not too guilty about it. At least I had a salad. lol. I'll try to be better tomorrow though.

Fri. March 16

(So, I was down another pound this morning. That means I'm officially the lowest weight I've been since I started this endeavor. :) )

- 1.5 bowls of Corn flakes with milk and 5 packets of Equal
- 3 breakfast sausages
- 2 medium sized steaks
- Handful of baby carrots
- 1 serving of Crystal Light in water
- 2 small strawberry-banana smoothies (apparently, these are only 200 cals each)
- Large serving of garlic mashed potatoes with peas
- 2 low carb chocolate muffins
- A bunch of water

So, not my best day food. I dunno why whenever I make some decent progress, I just feel the need to snack like crazy or overindulge on whatever is around. I dunno how often I wanted to dig into my goody stores. I didn't, but it was soooo tempting. I guess this is simpler to what smokers go through when they're trying to quit. At least, that's the only thing I can think to equate it to.

Anyway, I won't be able to weigh myself for the next few days. So, all I can do try to be good this weekend and hope for the best. At least I know I'm capable of getting a little bit lighter. It's gonna be even more of an uphill battle now.

I need to remember this.

Thu. March 15

(As of this morning, I am back to the lowest weight I've been since I started losing weight: OW-38. Now I'm just worried about plateau-ing again.)

- Egg, sunny side up with extra whites
- 3 breakfast sausages
- 2 pieces of toast; one with peanut butter, one with grape jam

I spent part of my morning shelling peanuts. I bought a large bag a while ago and only opened it recently. I want to shell them all and then roast them in a frying pan with a pinch of salt and then snack on them as I like.

Still haven't decided if I'll go to the gym. I'm thinking a little less sleep right before I have 3 days off to re-coop isn't such a big deal. My other concern is missing the season finale of Jersey Shore. I mean, I'll be missing the 10pm airing cuz of work already, but there's a repeat at 1am that I usually catch. But, then again, MTV re-airs the shit outta that stuff, so I'm sure there's another repeat on tomorrow night. Hmm, I think I may have just talked myself into going to the gym. lol. Ok, I'll see how worn out I am after work then.

(Fairly decent food day, if I do say so myself. lol)

I'm pretty tired and a little sore from the concert last night. I would love nothing more than to chill in bed all day, but I have work today. Hopefully it won't be too busy though.

So, no gym tonight. I might go for a bit tomorrow, just to work some muscle groups, not cardio, but I haven't decided yet. I only have like 11 hours between when I'm off tomorrow night and when I start on Friday. I'll just see how I feel in the morning.

I want navel piercings like that when I lose enough.

Tue. March 13

(I lost 4lbs between yesterday morning and today. I guess not indulging in junk worked very well. lol)

- Chicken fried rice with extra peas (It was left over and I hate to waste food)
- Small steak
- Orange
- Handful of cucumber slices
- 1 mozzarella cheese string
After the concert
- Cheeseburger with ketchup and lettuce
- Poutine
- Apple juice
- A bunch of water
(This probably wasn't the best meal to have, but I justify this because I was sweating up a storm at the concert. I mean , everything that I was wearing was d-renched in sweat and it was rolling down every surface. I'll do better tomorrow.)

I went to the gym today and was able to have a much better work out, mainly cuz there were less people there and I wasn't worried about my stuff being stolen. I was able to bench press 60lbs, despite a sore left wrist.

So, I have a concert tonight with a friend friends. I'm super excited for that. I just need to decide what I'm wearing. Fun times. :)

- Dieter's tea (This is a "cleansing" tea. It's all natural and pretty much flushes out your system.) 

I went to the gym tonight. I was kinda tired from work and I had forgotten my lock, so I wasn't as into my work out as usual. I walked from work (40 mins) and then walked home after that (25-ish mins), so I guess it's safe to say I got my cardio.

I'm sitting here now, watching some TV before I grab a shower. I have half a tub of gummy bears and a small bag of leftover Halloween candy calling my name. Yes, I still have Halloween candy. I also have a 1lb chocolate bunny from last year's Easter. I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to sweets, but I try not to indulge too often. Anyway, since I've had a pretty decent day food-wise, I'm not gonna spoil it with gummies. IF I get really hungry just before bed, I'm just gonna have some cucumber slices.

I have tomorrow off and I'm going to see one of my favourite bands in concert. So, I'm gonna hit up the gym earlier in the day, but make sure I still have enough energy to mosh later on. lol

Sun. March 11

Back story:
Basically, I have been struggling with my weight since I was a kid. I've always had some extra meat on my bones, but as I got older, it got to be more and more. A couple years ago, I surpassed the weight I told myself I would never go passed (unless I was pregnant). I put on some more weight after that and stayed bloated and unhappy like that for a while until I went on vacation last year. I weighed myself the morning before leaving in January of 2011. I have used that weight as my starting point. I came back from vacation 5lbs up, but I had given up pop while I was away and started eating better, being more physically active and setting goals for myself. I have been able to get down to 38lbs from my OW (original weight), but have been fluctuating for a while cuz I have been pretty lax as of late. However, I feel it's time to put my ass in gear again and drop some more weight; pretty much cuz my BDay and summer are coming up. lol

Anyway, I'm hoping to post here everyday and use it as kind of an online food journal and venting space and hopefully some people will stumble across it and offer constructive criticism and tips and encouragement. I also wanna try to post a pic a day. Not necessarily of my progress, just of whatever strikes my fancy or goes along with my post of the day. So, without further adiue, let's get this started...

- Medium poutine
- Apple juice
